Ride the rapids of the Sarapiqui or Balsa River at full speed through the Costa Rican jungle. A real adventure!
White Water Rafting Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Arenal, we'll set off on the 50-minute drive to the place where the white water rafting will begin. This natural paradise has been used as a means of transport since pre-Columbian times and will be the setting for our rafting trip.
Once our expert guides have given us a safety talk, we'll climb onto our rafts and set off on our incredible rafting experience through the white water. We'll tackle class II and II rapids, including "Superman," "Ay Caramba," "Confusion," and many others with equally exciting names - ideal for beginners and advanced rafters alike!
The white water rafting trip will last between an hour and a half and two hours, depending on the river flow, which changes daily. As we crash through the Costa Rican jungle, we'll admire the spectacular gorges, canyons, and waterfalls along the Sarapique or Balsa River and feel the spray of water on our skin.
Suppose we're lucky, along the river. In that case, we'll also see some local wildlife like monkeys, toucans, and other tropical animals - an exciting afternoon getting to know Costa Rica's wild side!
At the end of the rafting trip, we'll return to dry land, and you'll be treated to a refreshing beer or juice before we return to the hotels. After a full day of fun, we'll take you back to your hotel in Arenal about 4 and a half hours after pickup.
