Delphi Day Trip

After collecting you from your hotel you'll head to Delphi, a fascinating town declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the world-famous Temple of Apollo on a comfortable bus.

On the way to Delphi you'll drive past the hilly region of Boeotia and the city of Thebes, a major site in Greek mythology, without stopping. The day tour also includes a brief stop at Livadeia for a quick break to get a coffee or go to the toilet.

Upon arrival in Delphi, known in antiquity as the center of the world, you’ll visit the Monument to the Argos Kings, the Athenian Treasury and the famous Temple of Apollo. Next, you'll marvel at the masterpieces housed in the Delphi Archaeological Museum, including the impressive Charioteer of Delphi.

After having a delicious traditional Greek lunch at a family-run restaurant (optional) you will return to Athens, stopping at Arachova, a picturesque mountain town established on the southern mountainside of Mount Parnassus.

The bus will drop you off at your hotel at approximately 6:30 pm.

Hotel pickup

The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off from most hotels in Athens. You'll be sent an email with alternative meeting point information in the event we're not able to collect you from your hotel.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q - What is the difference between the excursion to Delphi and the 2 day tour to Delphi and Meteora?
