Jinshanling Great Wall Day Trip
Day Trip Details
Our day trip will begin at the indicated time, meeting up at Dongzhimen Station in Beijing. From there, we'll depart for the Jinshanling Great Wall to start our hiking route.
It will take about 3 hours to reach Jinshanling, which is 140 kilometres (86 miles) from Beijing and connects two sections of the Great Wall: the Simatai section to the east and the Gubeiko section to the west.
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll leave you free time for a medium-difficulty hike of about 4 hours. Along the way, you can enjoy the views of Jinshanling, one of the best preserved sections of the Great Wall of China and the most representative part of the so-called dragon's backbone. Undoubtedly, an unforgettable experience for hiking enthusiasts!
We'll end the hike in Wuyanlou, where you'll be able to grab a bite to eat in a local restaurant, where you can taste typical Chinese dishes.
The tour will end with our return to Beijing, where we'll accompany you back to the starting point of the tour 10 hours later.

During the tour, you'll be accompanied by an English-speaking guide until you reach the city wall. Once there, the visit will be at your own pace.
