Byblos, Jeita Grotto & Harissa Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Beirut and then take a comfortable minibus to the Jeita Grotto. With this tour, you'll experience a mix of natural and historic aspects and enjoy the best scenery around Lebanon.
As soon as you see the ancient Jeita Grotto, considered one of the jewels of Lebanon, you'll be amazed! Upon arrival, we'll board a boat so that we can get up close and see these breathtaking caverns from a unique vantage point. One of the highlights will be the famous grotto which was nominated as one of the 7 wonders of the world!
After returning to land, we'll hop back on the bus and head over to Harissa. Once there, we'll board a cable car that will take us to a major pilgrimage point: the large image of Our Lady of Lebanon. We'll learn a bit about its history and then make our way to the last stop of the day in Byblos city, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world!
We'll enter this ancient Phoenician city and learn about its history while touring the archaeological site of Byblos. Temples, an ancient Roman amphitheater, tombs of Phoenician kings...
Before heading back to the point of origin, we'll indulge in a delicious Lebanese lunch in Byblos. Then, we'll hit the road one final time and arrive in Beirut at approximately 6 hours after the start time.
