Enjoy the sensuality of Argentine tango by attending this show at Café Tortoni, the oldest café in Buenos Aires and in Argentina, dating back to 1858.

Café Tortoni

Located on central Avenida de Mayo, next to the World Tango Museum, the iconic Café Tortoni is a true symbol of tango in Buenos Aires.

Opened in 1858 and inspired by traditional Parisian cafés, it is one of the most historic establishments not only in the Argentine capital but in all of Latin America. Its interior is decorated in a classic French style, with wooden furniture that creates a truly bohemian atmosphere.

Although Tortoni is open from early morning, it is in the afternoon when the café reaches its peak. Why? Every day, live tango performances take place here—an art form that touches the soul and has been recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
