Tour Options

When booking your tour of Buenos Aires, you can choose between a route through the historic center or the La Boca neighborhood. In both cases, the itinerary lasts 1.5 hours, and we'll depart from the Colón Theater.

Both tours include transportation in a 1980s Volkswagen van, a Spanish-speaking driver, and a tasting of mozzarella pizza at one of the three traditional pizzerias we’ll visit.

Below are the details of each route:

Historic Center Tour

First, we'll leave the Colón Theater behind and head towards the Obelisk on 9 de Julio Avenue. From there, we’ll drive along the iconic Corrientes Avenue towards the Güerrín pizzeria, a symbol of Buenos Aires-style pizza. On this same street, we'll also visit the Las Cuartetas pizzeria, known for its generous slices.

We'll continue the tour in a Volkswagen van toward Plaza de Mayo, where we'll see the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Casa Rosada, the seat of the executive power of the Argentine Republic.

Finally, we'll explore the Microcentro area and head to the El Cuartito pizzeria, a classic with decades of tradition.

La Boca Neighborhood Tour

On this route, after leaving behind the Colón Theater and the Obelisk on 9 de Julio Avenue, we'll head to Corrientes Avenue to visit the Banchero pizzeria, creator of the famous fugazza con queso (onion pizza with cheese).

The next stop, already in the La Boca neighborhood, will be at the Los Campeones pizzeria. Next, we'll pass by La Bombonera. In fact, this stadium, home of Club Atlético Boca Juniors, is called Alberto J. Armando. Did you know that?

We'll continue the route by crossing the Matanza River via the Pueyrredón Bridge. From there, we'll head to the Plaza de la Constitución and make our last stop at Pirilo pizzeria, famous for its traditional thick-crust pizza.
