Inca Jungle 4 Day Trek

Day 1

After picking you up at your hotel in Cusco at 6 am, we'll head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the tour, we'll be amazed by the landscapes and the beauty of the Andes Mountains.

At noon we'll arrive at the town of Carrizales, located at 3900 metres (12800 feet) above sea level. After receiving safety instructions and putting our protective gear on, we'll get on our mountain bikes to descend through picturesque villages into the Peruvian jungle

Following the footsteps of the Incas, we'll arrive in the town of Santa Maria, to enjoy a delicious meal. Then the second adventure of the day will begin, as we get into a canoe and go through the white waters of the Santa Maria River. The day will end at a lodge, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, we'll start a trekking route along the Huamanmarca river bank. During the walk, we'll see the various species of fruit plants, animals and birds that populate the area, as well as the Velo de Novia waterfall, which is more than 50 metres (160 feet) high.

The trek will continue to Pasto Grande ascending a vertical path that will take us to the Yunca Island area, where we'll find the Gonzales waterfall. Here, we'll stop to enjoy a traditional lunch.

After resting, we'll resume the hike to the Cocalmayo thermal baths to relax in its crystalline waters. Once we've enjoyed the medicinal benefits of these hot springs, the trek will continue to the town of Santa Teresa, to have dinner and spend the night in a hostel.

Day 3

Once we've had breakfast, we'll go to a coffee farm to visit its plantations and see the production process of this precious product. As well as learning about the hot drink's secrets, we'll have the chance to sample the delicacy.

Then we'll go to the Vertikal Zip Line, a complex where you'll enjoy swinging through the jungle and climbing circuits. After the adrenaline-filled adventure, we'll continue our way to the Hydroelectric train station, to stop for lunch and rest.

The day will end in Aguas Calientes and you can explore this picturesque village on your own before going back to the hostel.

Day 4

On the last day, we'll be on our feet at 4:30 am to cross the jungle towards one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. The most memorable moment of the route will be seeing the sunrise over the ruins of Machu Picchu. A magical experience!

We'll take a two-hour guided tour of one of the most famous and important citadels in the world. Afterwards, you'll have free time to explore the area and discover other attractions around Machu Picchu.

Then, we'll go back to Aguas Calientes, where you'll have lunch on your own. Then you'll take the train to Ollantaytambo, and from herr we'll take you by bus to Cusco.
