Dubai is a city of contrasts, fusing the east and west in a way that enchants visitors. During this tour of Dubai, we'll visit both the historic and modern parts of the city, discovering the secrets of the city nicknamed the city of merchants.
At the port, we'll hop on a bus that will bring us to Jumeirah Beach. From there, we'll have a guided walking tour through the historic district of Al Fahidi before visiting the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, an enchanting Arabian marketplace bustling with activity. We'll also get breathtaking views of the iconic Burj Al Arab, Dubai's renowned 7-star luxury hotel.
Our journey continues with a stop at the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque, inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. You'll be amazed by its intricate Ottoman and Andalusian-inspired design, featuring exquisite interiors adorned with beautiful chandeliers and a library housing an impressive collection of almost 40,000 religious books.
As we drive along, we'll pass by the Mall of the Emirates, one of Dubai's largest shopping centres, and Dubai Mall, where you'll also see the Burj Khalifa, the largest skyscraper in the world!
The route will continue by bus through the Museum of the Future and the old city of Dubai. We'll see Dubai Creek, a river that runs up to 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) into the mainland and separates the historic neighbourhoods of Deira and Bur Dubai. We'll cross the river in an abra, a typical Emirati boat. We'll sail this boat to the gold, spice and leather market.
Finally, we'll visit the Al Khayma Heritage House in the Al Fahidi Historic District, where we'll learn more about Emirati culture and history.
The tour will end after 5 hours as we return by bus to the port of Dubai.
