Get ready to explore the essence of the Cuban capital on our Havana Contrasts Tour, which takes you through the city's most diverse areas and neighborhoods!

Description

We'll start by picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, and then we'll kick off our exciting Havana Contrasts Tour. After introductions, we'll hop into our vehicle and head to the first stop on our journey.

Our route begins with a drive through Regla, renowned as the most famous neighborhood on the opposite side of Havana Bay. Here, we'll delve into the city's industrial district and visit one of Cuba's most celebrated Catholic temples, the Nuestra Señora de Regla Church. Next, we'll explore the iconic Malecon, one of the city's most vibrant streets.

Our visit to Havana's cultural hub, the Vedado, follows. Did you know that this neighborhood houses some of the city's finest theaters, cinemas, and hotels from the Republican era? If you'd like, we'll ascend to the terrace of the famous Hotel Nacional to enjoy a refreshing Cuban-style cocktail with breathtaking sea views. We guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Continuing our journey, we'll stroll along 23rd Avenue, a street teeming with colorful contrasts between old and new buildings. Our next stop is one of the area's lesser-known gems, the Havana Forest. This natural haven will whisk you away from the city's hustle and bustle and is rich in historical and contemporary references to Cuban art and religion.

Leaving Vedado behind, we'll reach Miramar, a neighborhood distinct from the rest of our destinations. Designed and constructed by Cuba's upper classes, it stands as the country's most affluent residential area. As we drive along its main street, Fifth Avenue, you'll notice the American influence in the architecture. Have you observed the numerous embassies and grand mansions?

The final destination on our Havana Contrasts Tour is Jaimanitas, famously known as Fusterlandia. This former fishing village oozes authenticity from every corner. Visual artist Fuster has transformed it into an expansive open-air gallery where he showcases his artworks. Do his creations remind you of those by a famous Spanish architect? Here's a hint—it's often referred to as Havana's Parque Güell.

Between 3 and 4 hours later, we'll conclude our journey, returning you to your hotel.
