Mexico City Free Walking Tour

The tour meets at the arranged time in front of the Palace of Fine Arts, next to the Alameda Central Park. From here we'll begin our walking tour through the centre of Mexico City.

Having seen the mixture of Art Nouveau and Art Deci which the Palace of Fine Arts represents, we'll head to the Palacio Postal and the National Art Museum to take a look inside both impressive monuments. Then the tour continues to the Tiled House, a palace in the centre of the city, which was the official residence of the Counts of the Orizaba Valley.

Before arriving at Constitution Square, we'll pass by the Iturbide Palace, and the Church of the Profession, an imposing and fascinating baroque construction. Then in Constitution Square our expert guide will tell you all about Mexico City, outlining the changes the capital has seen over the years.

Then we'll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, and take a look inside if possible on the day of the tour. Before finishing our free walking tour, we'll visit the Templo Mayor and Templo de Tlaloc two architectural sites where you can study the Aztec ruins which are the foundation of the city itself.
