Enjoy one of the most emblematic and magical traditions in Mexico City on this trajinera boat ride through Xochimilco with a special Day of the Dead edition. It will be a festive journey through the legendary Aztec canals, surrounded by marigold flowers, ancestral culture, and typical tastings
We'll meet at the Canal 237 in Xochimilco to board a colorful trajinera specially adorned with marigold flowers, the Nahuatl symbol that guides souls on their return to the earthly realm.
As we sail on the canals, you'll enjoy traditional desserts, an open bar, and a special pulque (agave wine) tasting with marigold flavors. Throughout the journey, our guide will explain the pre-Hispanic origins of Xochimilco and the deep significance of Day of the Dead.
Afterward, we'll stop at a traditional chinampa, an artificial island, to gain a deeper understanding of the Aztec agricultural techniques and taste local pulque once again. Back on the trajinera, we'll continue our boat ride with group dynamics, games on board, and the best music on this special day.
The experience will end after 2.5 hours at the starting point.
