    The two people who took us to the sanctuary were very attentive and kind. They explained everything about the sanctuary and the monarch butterflies very well, and even though there were only two of us on the tour, that wasn't a reason to cancel it. The tour was practically private. The guide, named Rey, was very attentive and patient during the tours. Since Michoacán is a state where you hear about a lot of violence, I felt safe with both guides. It's a tour I would recommend to my family and friends.
