We'll pick you up from your hotel in Mascate to head towards two of Oman's most famous sites: the Valley of Wadi Bani Khalid and the Wahiba Desert Sands.
Our first stop of the day is along the sands of Wahiba, where you'll be mesmerized by the vast and distinctive red dunes. Did you know the Wahiba Desert stands as one of Oman's most renowned deserts? For the next hour and a half, we'll immerse ourselves in the sheer beauty of the desert, and enjoy a camel ride over the dunes, while getting to know the many curiosities of this incredible natural wonder.
Next up, we'll make our way to Wadi Bani Khalid. Here, we'll find pristine natural pools with turquoise waters surrounded by incredible cliffscapes and palm trees. No, we didn't just describe a mirage, this is a real-life desert oasis, and we'll enjoy the paradisical spot for the next two hours! Additionally, take the opportunity to enjoy a traditional meal during this break at any of the local restaurants nearby.
Then, refueled and ready to go, we'll continue reveling in the beauty of the natural oasis we find ourselves in. For the adventure seekers in the group, try your hand at cliff jumping for a refreshing and exciting swim! If you're looking to enjoy a more tranquil experience, you can also walk right into the calm waters of the natural pools for the perfect dip. Of course, if you want to explore the area more, try out one of the hiking routes and get a close look at the lush vegetation and rock formations that characterize this spot.
Lastly, after 8 hours of oasis adventure, we'll bring you back to your hotel and end the day.
