At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Muscat to start our day trip to Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid. Ready to explore two of Oman's natural gems?
First, we'll visit the stunning golden dunes of Wahiba Sands, a 2.5-hour drive from the Omani capital. Once there, we'll enter a dreamlike landscape. We'll drive through the sand, experiencing the beauty of the desert and taking unforgettable souvenir photos.
During the 1-hour drive, we'll stop at a traditional Bedouin house to briefly learn about the history of this nomadic people. The structures of their houses are made of goat or camel hair.
After our adventure in Wahiba Sands, we'll move to the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid, an oasis surrounded by picturesque landscapes, including cliffs and palm groves. Here, we'll take you to a restaurant to replenish your energy with a rich buffet lunch.
With newfound energy, you'll have an hour of free time to swim in the natural pools of Wadi Bani Khalid, famous for its emerald waters, and take a relaxing walk along the trails that border the oasis. Be sure to have your cameras ready!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll bring you back to your hotel, arriving 9 hours later.
