If you want to explore Rio de Janeiro's surroundings with an exclusive guide, you can book one of our private day trips. These day trips last between 8 to 9 hours and include pick-up from your hotel, transport in a private vehicle and an English speaking guide. 

Following on are the details of each tour:

Petropolis Day Trip (8 hours)

We'll pick you up at 9 am from your hotel and drive one hour 30 minutes towards the Imperial City of Brazil, Petrópolis. On arrival, the first stop will be the Quintandinha Palace, one of the largest and most luxurious palaces in all of Latin America. Then we'll head to the Imperial Museum, for an hour tour of the former summer residence of Emperor Pedro II. 

Our next visit will be the Petropolis House, also known as the 'House of Seven Mistakes', as well as the Metropolitan Cathedral. We'll then go to the Bohemian Brewery, one of the traditional locations in Petrópolis, where you'll have the chance to eat and taste the most traditional beers at your leisure.

Another one of the places we'll visit is the Santos Dumon House Museum, which is the perfect place to learn all about the inventor of the aeroplane. To conclude the tour, we'll visit a local chocolate factory, where we will taste some delicious chocolate.

Finally, we'll return to Rio de Janeiro, arriving at your hotel at around 5 pm.

Important: This tour doesn't take place on Mondays. In addition, the visit to the interior of the Petropolis House is only available from Wednesday to Sunday. 

Arraial do Cabo Day Trip (9 hours)

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro at 8 am and head to our destination, Arraial do Cabo. 

After a two hour journey, we'll arrive at one of the locations with the most beautiful beaches in the country. Here, we'll sail through the crystal clear waters of the "Brazilian Caribbean". On board the boat accompanied by other passengers we'll have the best views of Pontal do Atalai, Gruta Azul and Fenda de Nossa Senhora - a paradise!

We'll make a stop at Cabo Frio beach, where you'll have free time to have some lunch. Then, the tour will end heading back to Rio de Janeiro arriving at your hotel at 5 pm.
