On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your chosen pickup point in Rotorua at the indicated time and set off on an unforgettable journey into the world of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Are you ready to see where the cinematic magic was made?
Our tour will start with a scenic drive to Matamata, during which we'll learn all about the region and its history through stories and interesting facts.
Once we arrive at the Hobbiton Movie Set, we'll enjoy an exciting guided tour and find out how this picturesque farmland was transformed into a real-life piece of Middle-Earth.
During our guided tour, we'll get to see Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn, the Party Tree, the Mill and many other structures from the movies. It'll be as if we've stepped into the movie itself!
Afterwards, we'll head to the Party Marquee and savour a banquet feast fit for a Hobbit!
Finally, after a total of 6 hours and 15 minutes, we'll drop you back to your hotel in Rotorua.
