On this buggy tour on the island of Sal, we'll explore the main tourist attractions on this paradise in Cape Verde while releasing adrenaline. It's the perfect adventure activity if you're in Santa Maria!
When booking, you can choose between 3 different options. All include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking tour assistant and a double buggy hire. Here, you can see the details for each tour:
After picking you up, we'll head to the offices to get your buggies and start to explore the island of Sal in a fun way. Firstly, we'll head to the top of Serra Negra, from where we'll have incredible views of the island. Don't forget your cameras!
From here, we'll drive to Oasis, in the centre of Sal. To complete this great route, we'll head to Ponta Preta Beach, one of the most beautiful places on the island.
Schedule: this option is available at 2 pm and 4:30 pm.
If you fancy spending longer in the buggy, then this is the best option for you. Firstly, we'll head to Murdeira, in the western part of Sal. We'll enjoy driving around the desert surrounding us as we aim for the port city of Palmeria, one of the most important parts of the island. Here, we'll have 30 minutes of free time to admire the Portuguese-style architecture that dominates the town.
Then, we'll continue by visiting Regona, a natural swimming pool in the northwest of Sal. Afterwards, we'll travel to Terra Boa, where you'll be able to experience the Morgana effect. What is this? You'll find out! From here, we'll drive the buggies to Pedra de Lume, where we'll see the famous salt marshes on the island. To end the route, we'll visit Shark Bay, the perfect stop to see lemon sharks.

Children aged 5-18 can take part in this buggy tour, however only as passengers. Therefore, minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same vehicle.
To drive the buggy, you must present a valid driver's license. Please note that each buggy can carry up to two people.
