Rancho Don Jacinto Agave Fields Horseback Riding
Tour Details
We'll meet at Rancho Agavero Don Jacinto, in the municipality of El Arenal. Once there, we'll get to know the horses and, after a brief safety briefing, saddle up and set off along the rural trails surrounding Tequila.
During the ride, we'll be surrounded by iconic blue agave fields, the plant behind Mexico's most famous drink. As we make our way along the dirt paths, we'll take in spectacular views of the Tequila valley and feel a direct connection with the natural landscape around us. The most authentic way to experience rural Jalisco!
Depending on the option you choose, we'll round off the day with an artisanal tequila tasting, a delicious lunch, or a cultural visit to an ancient pre-Hispanic settlement.
Tour Options
When booking, you can choose from the following options:
1-Hour Ride
The ideal option for those looking for a short but immersive taste of the landscape. We'll enjoy a 1-hour ride through the agave fields and, on returning to the ranch, raise a glass with a house tequila tasting.
2-Hour Ride
Want to take it at a more leisurely pace? On this option, we'll spend 2 hours riding through the fields, reaching spots with even more impressive views. After the ride, we'll refuel with the ranch's tequila and a freshly prepared shrimp dish with a drink.
3-Hour Ride
The most complete experience for lovers of culture and gastronomy! In addition to the horseback ride, tequila tasting, and shrimp meal, we'll visit the Santa Quiteria archaeological zone, where we'll discover the remains of the ancient civilizations that once called this region home.
