Humantay Lake Hike
Climb more than 4000 metres up to contemplate the Humanatay Lake, a spectacular sight and a unique trekking experience deep in the heart of the Andes!
Humantay Lake Hike
After picking you up from your hotel at 4 am, we'll begin making our way by bus to the Humanatay Lagoon - a spectacular sight nestled within the Andes mountain range.
The first stop on the route takes place in the Mollepata settlement, found at almost 3,000 metres up, and where we'll stop to enjoy an energy-rich buffet breakfast. The best way to start the day!
Then we'll continue to explore the spectacular Peruvian region, until we arrive at the Soraypama camp, 3,900 metres up. And it's here that we begin the trek to Humantay Lagoon, a turquoise paradise surrounded by the imposing glaciers that form part of the mountain range.
Over an hour and a half, we'll climb up to 4,200 metres, all the way enchanted by the local flora and fauna - with your reward for the effort a breathtaking view, unique in all of Peru.
Then, after an hour in this magical place, we'll make our way back to Soraypama to climb aboard the bus that will take you back to Mollepata, to fuel up with a well-deserved buffet dinner.
Then we'll head back to your hotel in Cusco, arriving between 7 and 8 pm at Plaza del Regocijo.
