Delhi Museums Guided Tour
At the appointed time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Delhi and start this guided tour of the four most important museums in the capital of India. Art lovers, welcome!
First, we'll head to the Crafts Museum, one of the largest craft museums in India. We'll go inside and see its different areas, such as the Tribal and Rural Crafts Gallery, the Courtesan Crafts Gallery and the Folk Culture Gallery -which houses objects that are more than 300 years old! We'll see the collection of terracotta sculptures from Karnataka!
Next, we'll visit the National Museum of India, where we'll see more than 200,000 exhibits ranging from prehistoric times to the present day. Relics from the Indus Valley, treasures from the Silk Route and sacred relics of Buddha are the main attractions of this exhibition.
We'll continue our tour of Delhi's museums at the Mahatma Gandhi Museum, also known as Gandhi Smriti. During the tour, we'll see the place where Gandhi spent the last days of his life until he was assassinated on 30 January 1948.
Lastly, we'll visit the Sikh Temple, one of the most outstanding sanctuaries in the city.
Finally, after seven hours of sightseeing, you'll return to your hotel in Delhi.
