Private Tour Details
After collecting you from your hotel in Delhi, we will first head towards the celebrated Temple of the Lotus. This Bahá'í place of worship stands out for its peculiar similarity to a flower. Do you know why this specific architecture was chosen?
Our next stop is the bucolic Lodi Gardens. This is Delhi’s large green lung and the intoxicating aroma from the flowers accompanies you as you discover the different mausoleums that adorn the park.
The Tomb of Humayun is located very close to the gardens. During our visit to this majestic monument, declared a World Heritage Site, we will reveal intriguing facts about the 16th century Moghul Emperor who the tomb is named after.
You will have approximately an hour to yourself for lunch or to enjoy a Rickshaw ride. After eating, we will travel to the Hindu Temple of Akshardham. Despite being a modern construction (inaugurated in 2005), it currently constitutes one of the main attractions of Delhi due to its colossal elephant sculptures, the fountain displays and sculptured columns.
We then begin our journey back to your hotels.
