You'll be picked up at your hotel in Santa Maria at the indicated time for this private tour of the Sal, a Cape Verdean island destination that will captivate you forever!
The first stop will be Kite Beach, which hosts many water sports competitions due to its strong winds. After enjoying the scenery of this famous beach, we'll go to Porto Palmeira, a fishing village where we'll take a walk to admire its colourful houses.
We'll continue our private tour of the island of Sal at the Pedra da Lume salt flat. There you can swim in a salt lake with therapeutic properties, the only one in the world that is located inside a volcanic caldera.
Once you have relaxed, we'll continue our journey to the salt desert of Miragem, where a curious optical effect awaits you! Afterwards we'll drive to Buracona, where you'll have an hour free to take a dip in the Blue Eye Cave. Did you know that this natural pool is one of the seven wonders of the island of Sal?
After the swim in this lagoon, we'll head to Shark Bay, where we'll see lemon sharks in their natural habitat. At the end of the experience, we'll continue the excursion in the towns of Murdeira and Espargos. In the latter town, the capital of the island of Sal, you can have lunch on your own. Finally, if you wish, we can make a last stop at the Botanical Garden of Viveiro.
After a tour of approximately 7 hours on the island of Sal, we'll conclude the private tour by returning to your hotel in Santa Maria.
