Horseback Ride in Charpito Ranch
Horseback Ride Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Vía Blanca in Matanzas. Once we're ready, we'll start a 20-minute road trip toward the Charpito Ranch, in the heart of Valle de Yumurí.
After a nice drive admiring the Cuban countryside, we'll reach our destination, where we'll be greeted with a welcome cocktail. We'll also enjoy a board with seasonal fruit and an aromatic Cuban coffee.
Before we begin our horseback ride, we'll go on a walking tour of about 15 minutes of the Charpito Ranch facilities. You'll see the fruit trees that grow on this farm and you'll be able to interact with the animals.
Then, we'll take part in a 1.5-hour horseback ride along the Valle de Yumurí. The ride will take us on almost pristine trails with lush vegetation and landscapes that look like they're from the past. As we continue, we'll immerse ourselves in rural life, passing by farmers working the land, traditional houses, and children waving from a distance.
Back at the ranch, delicious snacks made with regional products await. You'll indulge in tacos, grilled sandwiches, fried yuca or taro, and banana chips. The best way to end this experience!
Finally, we'll begin our journey back to the initial starting point and say our goodbyes after 3 hours.
