Mexico City Hot Air Balloon Ride

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Independence Angel statue in Mexico City and make our way to the take-off point.

While we wait for the balloon to fill with air, we'll enjoy a coffee or a snack to fuel up. We'll then climb into the basket and set off on a unique trip through the skies.

You'll fly over the Teotihuacan Valley and admire the best views of the most visited archaeological site in Mexico. The flight will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the weather on the day.

From the clouds, we'll get a unique perspective on the "City of the Gods," admiring wonders such as the Sun Pyramid, the Quetzalpápalotl Palace, the Road of the Dead, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Quetzalcoatl Temple.

Upon landing, we'll toast with sparkling wine and have a buffet breakfast to celebrate the experience. Plus, all participants will receive a certificate to accredit them as certified hot-air ballooners!

Afterwards, you'll have around 2 hours to visit the Teothiuacán ruins at your own pace and discover this incredible site.

But that's not all! We'll attend an artisan workshop to learn about Teotihuacan customs. We'll learn some of the uses of obsidian, the importance of the agave plant, how mead is fermented, and how silver pieces are made. As the finishing touch to this special day, we'll enjoy a tasting of pulque, tequila, cactus liqueur, and mezcal. Cheers!

Lastly, we'll make our way back to the starting point, ending the tour in Mexico City after 8 hours of fun.

• Please keep in mind that the route may change depending on the wind, and it's possible that we won't be able to fly over the ruins of Teotihuacan.
• The price is valid for people weighing up to 218 lbs (99 kilos). If you exceed this weight, you'll have to pay 50% extra directly to the provider at the take-off point.
• If the flight cannot take place due to adverse weather conditions, a refund will be made minus 420 MXN (US$ 24.40) per passenger for ground transportation.
