Strolling through Santa María la Ribera, we'll get to know a lesser-known part of Mexico City and its rich culture. What is it like to live in the nation's capital? Where do locals do their shopping? What do they spend their free time doing? Let's find out.
We'll admire the facades of impressive mansions built in the 19th and 20th centuries on our route toward the church of the Sagrada Familia, also known as the parish of the Josefinos.
Along our journey, we'll discover the fascinating history of this neighborhood - from a wealthy colony to the social problems which it's facing today.
During the free tour, we'll see the facades of the Vasconcelos Library and the Museum of Geology, we'll cross the Alameda de Santa Maria la Ribera, which is known for its iconic Morisco Kiosk, and we'll take you to one of the best pulquerias in Mexico City.
