With the Copenhagen tourist train, you will explore the City of Spires in an entertaining and unique way. On this sightseeing train ride, you will admire all the special monuments of the old town.
Route and stops
The historic center of Copenhagen, originally a Viking fishing village, is home to an important set of historical sites which you can admire all from the carriage of the comfortable tourist train.
The tour starts at the City Hall Square and makes its way around the main historic city center. Strøget street is one of the longest pedestrianized streets in the world. From there, you will then tour around the medieval quarter of the city, famous for its architecture and full of fascinating history. You will see sculptures of Nordic mythology such as magnificent dragons and scary serpents.
Throughout the 40-minute journey, you will have access to an English language audio guide which will allow you to learn all about the monuments of the Danish capital. You will discover the main places of interest around the city, such as the Round Tower, the Cathedral of Copenhagen and the City Hall Square.
The route has three stops: the City Hall Square, Copenhagen Cathedral and Gammal Strand.

Timetables and frequency
The train departs every 60 minutes from the centrally located City Hall Square, also known as Radhuspladsen.
By presenting your reservation voucher you can access the tourist train whenever you want within the following timetable:
- From 5 May to 15 June, Saturdays and Sundays between 10:30 am and 4:30 pm.
- From 16 June to 31 August, every day between 10:30 am and 4:30 pm.
The tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and you can climb on and off as many times as you want during the day.
