Street Art Tour of Milan's Chinatown
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Monumentale subway stop to start this urban art tour of Milan's Chinatown!
During this guided tour of Chinatown, we'll discover the history of this unknown part of Milan and emphasize the urban art murals that decorate the facades of many of its buildings.
We'll talk about the origins of Milan's Chinatown, which go back to the beginning of the 20th century. However, it wouldn't be until the 1990s that this area would begin to have its current appearance with the arrival of Asian immigration.
Although Milan's Chinatown is much younger than the rest of the world's western cities, it has a very special charm. The street art gives a touch of color and vibrance to the district. You'll fall in love with the neighborhood!
In the final leg of the route, we'll go into a bar to have a beer – the perfect finishing touch to the tour! And finally, after 3 hours of walking, we'll end the tour on Via Paolo Sarpi.
