Murano & Burano Self-Guided Tour
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at a central Venice pier to board a boat for a journey through the Venetian Lagoon.
Our first stop will be the picturesque island of Murano, where you'll have 1 hour of free time. Here, you can visit a traditional glass factory to witness a live demonstration of glassblowing, the island's star product. If you prefer not to visit the workshop, you can use this time to stroll freely along its canals and shops.
We'll continue north on board the boat until we disembark on the charming island of Burano, where you'll enjoy 1.5 hours of free time. You can admire its famous and vibrant colorful houses, a true spectacle for photographers. In addition to strolling, you can learn about its artisanal heritage by visiting the Lace Museum or discovering the local shops where the iconic merletti are made.
Finally, we'll meet again at the Burano pier to begin our return journey. We'll conclude the tour by returning to Venice, arriving at the San Marco Cornoldi pier after a total of 5 hours.
