The Madrid tourist bus from the Big Bus company makes a total of 12 stops over the course of an hour and a half.
The bus departs from Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo Square, also known as Plaza de Neptuno Square. During the tour, you'll enjoy the best views of Madrid aboard a comfortable double-decker bus. In addition, we drive along through the streets of Madrid, you'll learn many interesting facts about the monuments we'll see thanks to the onboard commentary.
We'll pass by some iconic spots such as the Prado Museum, the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace, Retiro Park and Las Ventas Bullring.

Options
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between the following options:
- Panoramic tour: with this, you'll enjoy a single trip aboard the tourist bus. This is a panoramic tour, without stops, where you'll make a single round trip around the entire bus route, starting and finishing at the same point: Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo Square (Plaza de Neptuno Square)
- 24-hour ticket: if you choose this option, you'll be able to hop on and off as many times as you like over 24 hours.
- 48-hour ticket: If you choose this option, you can hop on and off as many times as you'd like over 48 hours. The best way to discover Madrid is aboard the Big Bus!
How does it work?
In the case of the panoramic tour, you'll make a single trip on board the tourist bus.
However, if you choose either of the other two options, the ticket for the Madrid Big Bus is valid for 24 or 48 hours from the time it is used for the first time, i.e. if a 48-hour day ticket is used on a Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm.
During this time, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you want to check out the main sites and monuments around Madrid.
Although a starting date is requested when you make your reservation, you can use the service for 2 weeks after the date indicated. After making your booking you'll be sent a voucher by email which you will have to present on the first bus you take.
Schedules and Frequency
The Madrid tourist bus by the Big Bus company follows its route from Monday to Sunday from 9:30 am until 6:50 pm, with a frequency of around 45 minutes.
