Itinerario
A la hora indicada arrancaremos este free tour por Cartagena desde el centro histórico de la ciudad, una de las más emblemáticas de la costa de Murcia.
Comenzaremos este recorrido a pie explorando el puerto de Cartagena, seña de identidad de esta ciudad trimilenaria. ¡Os contaremos por qué! Seguiremos caminando bordeando el mar hasta llegar a la zona del Museo Naval, donde se encuentra el prototipo del submarino de Isaac Peral. Desde ahí continuaremos la visita hasta la plaza Héroes de Cavite, con su imponente obelisco que rinde homenaje a los caídos.
La siguiente parada tendrá lugar en la plaza del Ayuntamiento, con su magistral Palacio Consistorial, una de las joyas del modernismo en la ciudad. Desde aquí comienza la concurrida calle Mayor, la principal arteria comercial de Cartagena.
Avanzaremos paseando en dirección al principal monumento de la ciudad murciana: el Teatro Romano. Después de esta parada más que obligatoria, seguiremos caminando hacia las entrañas de la ciudad, descubriendo algunos de los lugares más concurridos de esta urbe, como la plaza San Francisco, lugar clave de la gastronomía y el ocio cartagenero.
Desde la plaza San Francisco accederemos al barrio del Foro Romano, donde tendremos la oportunidad de subir hasta el Cerro del Molinete para disfrutar tanto de sus vistas como del Parque Arqueológico que en él se encuentra.
A continuación, bordeamos el cerro para acceder a la calle Santa Florentina, que destaca por sus panaderías y su famosa churrería, y que nos conectará con la calle Mayor de Cartagena, el corazón del centro histórico de la ciudad.
Tras un recorrido de dos horas y media, finalizaremos el free tour por Cartagena junto a uno de los edificios emblemáticos de la ciudad, el Gran Hotel.
