This Prado Museum ticket means you'll get to see Madrid’s most visited, and one of the world’s most prominent art museums with skip the line access, and discover numerous masterpieces from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century.
Prado Museum Ticket
The Prado Museum has a collection of over 7.600 paintings and 1.000 paintings with masterpieces of various Spanish and European artists. Some of the most renowned artists include Velázquez, El Greco, Rubens, El Bosco or Goya.
The Prado Museum houses among other masterpieces: “Las Meninas” by Velázquez, “The Garden of Earthly Delights” by Bosche, “The Three Graces” by Rubens and “The Nude Maja” by Goya.
This ticket includes access to permanent and temporary exhibitions, although when purchasing the ticket you choose a date, the ticket is open and can be used up to a year from purchase.
Schedule
The Prado museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 7 pm. On 6th January, 24th and 31st December opening times are 10 am to 2 pm.
Free and Special Entry
Entry is free from Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to 8 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm on Sundays and public holidays.
Important information
- Even though you have to choose a date when you book this activity, the ticket is open-ended.
- The entrance to the Prado is free Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to 8 pm. (as well as being free for under 18s, students between 18 and 25, disabled people, and members of certain Spanish associations related to El Prado and museums). On Sundays, the museum is free from 5 pm to 7 pm. It is also free on the following bank holidays: 19 November (anniversary of the Prado) and on the 18 May (International Museum Day). You must go to the ticket office in order to gain free entry. Members of large families (one adult and three children of the same family) only pay €7.50 per ticket.
