Volga & Oka Rivers Cruise

At 4.30 pm, we'll meet at Kuzma Minin Square and walk a few minutes to the port of Nizhny Novgorod. There, we'll board the boat for our 75-minute cruise along with one of the most famous rivers in the world. The Volga not only is the longest river in Europe, but also an important trade route in Nizhny Novgorod - which we''ll discover as we sail the river!

During the cruise, we'll enjoy the incredible scenery along the banks of the Volga and its main tributary, the Oka River. Nizhny Novgorod is located at the crossroads of these two rivers, which has marked its history and development over the past centuries, and you'll admire its historical monuments from a completely different perspective!

For instance, from the river, we'll spot the new Volga soccer stadium, the Aleksander Nevsky Church, and the majestic Chkalov staircase. Did you know that it's the largest in Russia? After this breathtaking image is etched into our minds, we'll enter the Oka River to discover the attractions southern Nizhny Novgorod has to offer.

After sailing two of the most important rivers in Russia, we'll return to the starting point at about 6.15 pm.
