Mangroves of Tumbes Private Tour
Mangroves of Tumbes Private Tour
We'll meet at 8 am at Bolognesi Park for a 40-minute drive to one of the most famous places in the area. Can you guess what it is? That's right, the National Sanctuary of Los Manglares de Tumbes awaits us.
Once we're in this marvellous area of the Gulf of Guayaquil, we'll walk around it, visiting the forest and the shrimp farms and greeting the shell and crab extractors.
We'll then board a paddle canoe and begin a relaxing ride through this aquatic jungle. We'll sail through the estuaries of the sanctuary, observing the endemic flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
We'll also make a stop to get off the boat and walk along a path that will lead us to the heart of the mangroves, to observe this natural wonder from up close.
We'll even give you some free time to enjoy the surroundings and have a swim before returning to the boat. Finally, we'll return to the starting point and from there we'll take you to Tumbes, where we'll arrive at 2 pm.
Full-day tour (10 hours)
If you want an even more complete experience, you can choose this option. In addition to all the above, you will have the opportunity to practice sport fishing or spearfishing. You'll also enjoy a lunch of fresh fish and seafood, followed by a visit to Punta Capones, a coastal enclave surrounded by nature.
