Zagreb Communist Tour

After gathering, we'll begin this bike tour through communist Zagreb, perfect for history buffs. We'll leave the elegant Baroque and Modernist facades of the center behind and head to a completely different area.

Once we cross the Sava River, we'll enter New Zagreb, the residential heart of the city. We'll pass sites tied to the fall of communism and the Croatian battle for independence. We'll discover the history of this area that was developed after World War II and designed as a Socialist urban project. You'll pass through wide avenues, blocks of apartments, and public spaces that will show you another time. It'll be a journey through time!

We'll tell you what life in old Yugoslavia was like and what socialism meant for its inhabitants.
