Barranquilla Carnival Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to kick off this tour of the Barranquilla Carnival. Ready to dive into the history of one of the world's most joyful celebrations? Let's go!
Our first destination will be Museo del Carnaval, a museum filled with history where you'll discover the typical clothing, masks, and characters that bring this carnival to life. Here, you'll immerse yourself in the Barranquilla Carnival's essence with the interactive exhibitions, learning about the traditions that remain throughout time. You'll be amazed by this museum's cultural wealth!
Then, we'll head to the Casa del Carnaval, a space that has become the center for Barranquilla's creativity and tradition. You'll discover the creation process of the clothing and see the troupe that fills the streets with colors and music.
We'll then head to the Barrio Abajo, a historical place with a carnival essence. This neighborhood is the birthplace of troupes, tamboras, and a festive ambience that characterizes the Barranquilla Carnival. As we walk, you'll have the chance to interact with the locals, who experience this carnival with an unparalleled passion. There's music and happiness every day here!
Our tour will continue toward the stunning Gran Malecón del Río, where we'll enjoy the spectacular views of the Magdalena River and the citiy of Barranquilla as we listen to the traditional music of the Barranquilla Carnival.
