Private Bonaire Island Tour
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can opt for a tour of the north or south of the island:
North Bonaire Tour (2-2.5 Hours)
At the scheduled time, we'll begin this private guided tour of Bonaire by picking you up from your hotel in Kralendijk or from the cruise terminal, whichever you prefer. Ready to discover one of the paradisiacal islands in the Dutch Caribbean?
From the island's capital, we'll first head north to stop at the 1000 Steps viewpoint. But don't worry, there aren’t actually that many steps! After learning the origin of its name, we’ll enjoy stunning views of the beach. We'll then continue exploring the northern area until we reach Goto Meer, a lake that is home to an important flamingo sanctuary. Keep your camera ready—flamingos are often spotted here in large numbers!
The next stop will be in Rincon, the oldest town in Bonaire, founded by Spanish settlers in the 16th century. After discovering its history, we’ll continue to the Seru Largo Cross, a panoramic viewpoint with breathtaking scenery. On clear days, you can even spot the nearby islet of Klein Bonaire.
After exploring the north, we’ll set off on a tour of southern Bonaire. Once we arrive in this part of the island, we'll stop in Sorobon and Lac Bay. This is a windsurfing paradise famous for its turquoise waters. We'll continue toward Bonaire’s famous salt pans, where the white salt mountains contrast beautifully with the surrounding pink-hued waters.
Our final stop will be White Slaves, where we'll see the historic slave huts. Did you know that slavery wasn't abolished in the Dutch colonies until 1863?
Finally, we’ll return to the starting point.
South Bonaire Tour (1.5-2 Hours)
After picking you up at your hotel or at the cruise terminal, we'll head to the area of Sorobon and Lac Bay. This site is a windsurfing paradise, famous for its turquoise waters. We'll continue our tour through the southern part of the island, visiting the salt flats of Bonaire, whose white mountains of salt contrast with the pink waters surrounding them.
Our last stop will be at La última parada tendrá lugar en White Slaves, where we'll see the old prisoner cabins. Did you know that slavery was not abolished in the Dutch colonies until 1863?
Finally, we'll conclude this private tour of Bonaire by returning to your hotel or the cruise terminal of Kralendijk.
