Whale Watching by Speedboat
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, where we'll board a speedboat. Are you ready to get up close to the humpback whales?
Before heading out into the open sea, we'll sail past some of the most iconic landmarks in the area, such as the Finisterra rock formation and the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, where we'll make a brief stop to take photos. Then, we'll continue our journey in search of the humpback whales that visit this area during their breeding season. You'll be amazed by their size and elegance as they surface from the water!
During the trip, the crew will share fascinating information about marine life and stories of whale rescues involving animals entangled in fishing nets. In addition, we'll have a hydrophone on board, which will allow us to hear the whales singing underwater. Meanwhile, we'll capture the best moments so you can enjoy the tour without worrying about taking photos.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where the tour will conclude after 2 hours.
Whale Watching
The coast of Cabo San Lucas is a strategic location for whale watching in the Mexican Pacific. However, these animals are unpredictable, so the number of whales sighted will depend on various factors, such as the weather at the time or the breeding and calving seasons of the different species. If no whales are spotted during the first tour, you can take a second tour free of charge.
