Pucallpa Chocolate Workshop
Workshop Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa and take you to the Ukawn Chocolate Factory, where this chocolate workshop will take place. Are you ready for a truly sweet experience?
Along the way, we'll give you a brief introduction to the history and culture of cacao in Peru, highlighting the Ucayali region's leading role in producing fine beans. Once at the venue, we’ll get hands-on while learning about the process from bean to bar, discovering how cacao is transformed into high-purity chocolate.
The best part of the experience is making your own artisanal chocolate bar, which you can take home as a souvenir. The activity continues with a tasting of drinks, chocolates, and desserts made with cacao, paired with Amazonian fruits that enhance the product’s unique flavor notes.
At the end of the class, you’ll have free time to explore the shop and, if you wish, purchase chocolates, pralines, and other gourmet products.
Finally, we’ll head back to the starting point, where we’ll say goodbye after a total of 3 hours.
