Ucayali River Sunset Tour
Tour Details
Before sunrise, we'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the port of Pucallpa, on the banks of the Ucayali River. Are you ready to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises of your life?
Once at the dock, we'll board a peque-peque, the traditional boat of the Peruvian jungle. It's a long, narrow canoe powered by an outboard motor with a distinctive propeller shaft, which sets it apart from traditional paddle canoes.
During the journey along the river, nature will put on a spectacular show. You’ll observe Amazonian bird species such as the majestic tuyuyo, kingfishers, herons, and migratory gulls. With a bit of luck, you may also spot bufeos colorados (gray and pink river dolphins) that inhabit this basin.
The peque-peque ride will end at the magical Pucallpillo lagoon, where we'll watch the sunrise. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the jungle, the waters will transform into a mirror reflecting the colors of dawn, creating the perfect setting for unique photographs.
After this special moment, we'll take you back to your hotel, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 3 hours.
