Baker River Kayak Tour

At 9 am, we'll start the activity at Los Calafates street in Puerto Bertrand. From there, we'll head towards one of the natural wonders of Patagonia: the course of the Baker River, the largest river in Chile.

As soon as we reach the shore, we'll learn the main techniques of kayak paddling, getting to know the most basic and simple movements. You don't need any previous experience or great physical strength, as these basic notions will be enough for you to enjoy the activity.

After the theory phase, we'll move on to practice. Are you ready? We'll kayak in the turquoise waters of the Baker River. This river, the largest in Chile, has its source in the beautiful Bertrand Lake. We'll also paddle through this Patagonian lagoon, whose landscapes will captivate you from the very first moment.

During the tour, we'll also learn how to negotiate the rapids of the Baker River. These currents, which are class II, will make the activity all the more thrilling! We guarantee it'll be an exciting experience, which will also take place in the unique environment of Chilean Patagonia.

Finally, at the end of the activity we'll return to the banks of the Baker River and, from there, we'll return to Puerto Bertrand. Arrival at the starting point is scheduled for 11 am.
