Are you ready to visit the capital of Dominica? At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the cruise terminal and begin this tour of Roseau. History, colonial-era monuments, and captivating Caribbean landscapes await you.

Aboard a minibus, we'll start exploring the colonial-style architecture that stands out along the streets of Roseau. We'll tell you the story of this Caribbean city, known for its lush vegetation and neighborhoods with a culture that leaves no one indifferent.

First, we'll visit Roseau's old town, full of narrow streets and wooden and stone houses, as well as numerous markets that perfectly reflect the city's past. You'll discover the French, British, and Antillean influences that are still present in Roseau today!

Next, we'll visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of Fair Heaven, a Victorian-style church built from volcanic stone. Nearby, we'll find the Museum of Dominica, which showcases the Kalinago heritage, as well as the history and biodiversity. We'll also visit the Botanical Gardens, home to a wide variety of exotic plant species.

Later, we'll visit the Old Mill Cultural Center, an old 18th-century factory belonging to British colonists that was once used to produce sugar, rum, and molasses. Today, this museum offers insight into Dominica's culture, folklore, and traditional dances.

To finish, we'll head to the Morne Bruce viewpoint, where we'll see the iconic monument to Jesus Christ at its summit. From here, you'll have one of the best views of Roseau and the Caribbean Sea. The best spot for taking photos of Dominica!

We'll also explore this hill, which served as a military observation post during the colonial period. Old cannons and forts perfectly reflect the site's history.

After 1 hour of touring, we'll return to the starting point and end the tour of Roseau.
