Mount Athos Glass Bottom Boat Cruise
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Ouranopoli, where the glass-bottomed boat will be waiting for us to start our cruise to discover the breathtaking scenery.
Once we all board the ship, we'll set anchor and set course for Mount Athos. We'll reach the edge of the peninsula, we will start to skirt the coast of this mountainous area to discover its imposing monasteries - you won't be able to resist taking out your camera!
We'll have the chance to admire the most important sites from the water, such as the monastery of Chilandariou, Dochiarioy, or Xenophontos.
Then, we'll head towards Alkyles beach, located on the west side of the island of Ammouliani. Welcome to paradise! Here you'll have 2.5 hours to explore the area at your own leisure. You can rent a hammock on the beach, snorkel, sunbathe and enjoy the scenery. If Alkyles beach is closed, we'll visit the island's capital city instead, Ammouliani.
Finally, we'll make our way back to the port of Ouranopoli, arriving 5 hours later.
Alkyles Beach
Please note that we'll only visit Alkyles Beach during the summer months. The rest of the year, we'll make a stop at the village of Ammouliani.
