Las Xanas Gorge Hiking Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the car park next to the recreational area of Las Xanas. Once there, we'll set off on an unforgettable walk along the Las Xanas Gorge in Asturias. 

We'll start walking upwards and you'll see how we'll start our ascent, but don't worry it won't be too strenuous! A few metres further up, we'll enter the impressive gorge of the Senda del Oso. Here we'll be able to see the large number of tunnels carved into the rock.

In this area we'll have a spectacular view of the river Trubia from one of the highest parts of the path, as well as crossing a beech forest and chestnut trees. When we leave the path, we'll cross a small wooden bridge and continue ascending through Las Xanas.

In addition, during the hiking route, we'll pass by the hermitage of San Antonio de Pedroveya, a beautiful place to rest after an hour and a half of walking. 

Finally, we'll return to the starting point and finish the route along 2.5 hours of walking.
