Transfer Between Bucaramanga and the Chicamocha National Park
If you want to travel from the capital of the Santander region to one of Colombia's most important parks, this transfer between Bucaramanga and the Chicamocha National Park is the perfect option.
We'll pick you up at the meeting point you choose when booking, hop on a comfortable car or minibus, and sit back and relax during the ride, which takes about 1 hour through the stunning landscapes of the Colombian Andes.
The Chicamocha National Park offers a dramatic, arid landscape that you can take in from a cable car stretching over 6 km (3.7 mi). For thrill-seekers, it's also the perfect spot for paragliding. During your visit, you can also check out the Monumento a la Santandereanidad or cool off at the water park with mountain views.
If you're heading to Bucaramanga, we recommend strolling through its many green spaces, like Parque del Agua or Parque García Rovira. The city is also famous for its food, trying the local hormigas culonas (big-bottomed ants) is a challenge for the brave, and the obleas con arequipe (wafer cookies with caramel) are a must for anyone with a sweet tooth.
How Does It Work?
When booking, you'll need to select the option you prefer from the 3 available:
- One-way to the Chicamocha National Park: we'll pick you up at your hotel in Bucaramanga and take you to the Chicamocha National Park. Please note that pickup is not available in the Floridablanca or Piedecuesta areas. If you're staying in either of those, we'll let you know about an alternative meeting point after booking.
- One-way to Bucaramanga: in this case, we'll pick you up at the entrance of the Chicamocha National Park and take you to your hotel in Bucaramanga.
- Round-trip transfer: this is the most complete option, covering transportation to and from your destination from whichever starting point you choose when booking.
Departure Schedules
When booking, keep in mind the schedules for each option:
- If you prefer the transfer from Bucaramanga to the Chicamocha National Park, pickup will be at 7:30 am.
- If you go with the transfer from the Chicamocha National Park to Bucaramanga, we'll pick you up at 4 pm.
- If you choose the round-trip transfer, the schedules are the same as described above. You'll leave Bucaramanga at 7:30 am and we'll take you back from the Chicamocha National Park at 4 pm.
Children Under 3
Children under 3 can travel for free but must sit on their parent's or guardian's lap.
