Cochabamba Full-Day Tour
Tour Details
We'll kick off our full tour of Cochabamba at the scheduled time from either Plaza de Colón or your hotel, whichever you prefer. Ready to explore the best this Bolivian city has to offer?
We'll start the tour with a visit to Plaza de las Banderas and Plaza de Colón, home to some of the city's most famous public and religious landmarks, like the old Hospicio Temple.
Next, we'll head over to the Santa Teresa Convent, once home to the Discalced Carmelites and now a museum. We'll take a guided tour of the monastery before heading to Portales Palace, a gorgeous building that blends colonial architecture with neoclassical style.
On our way, we'll pass by the La Cancha market. Did you know it's the biggest open-air market in Latin America?
We'll stop to refuel with a traditional lunch, featuring a starter and a main course. Then, we'll hop on a bus to the Cristo de la Concordia viewpoint. This statue of Jesus is the second-tallest in the world, standing at a massive 34.20 meters!
After soaking in the amazing panoramic views of Cochabamba, we'll visit Alalay Lagoon, an ecological area in the south-central part of the city. Then, we'll dive into Cochabamba's most traditional neighborhoods for a stroll to check out the local street art murals.
Finally, we'll pass by Plaza 14 de Septiembre to see the Metropolitan Cathedral before heading back to Plaza de Colón, where we'll wrap up this 7-hour adventure.
