Green Grotto Caves Day Trip + Jamaica Swamp Safari
Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel or the Falmouth cruise port and begin this exciting adventure. Ready? Let's go!
First, we'll visit the Jamaica Swamp Safari Village sanctuary, where we'll explore the lush wetland filled with exotic wildlife. During our visit, you'll admire animals like crocodiles, snakes, iguanas, and a wide variety of native birds.
Besides being a popular natural reserve, this site is known in Falmouth for appearing in a scene in the James Bond movie Live and Let Die. The sanctuary is one of the few places where you can see crocodiles at every stage of life, from hatchlings to juveniles and adults.
After learning about these animals, we'll enjoy a picturesque journey toward the northern coast of Jamaica until we reach the Green Grotto Caves. These fascinating limestone caves are filled with history, as they served as a refuge for fugitive slaves and pirates in the past.
We'll walk along a labyrinth of interconnected chambers as we share every detail about the formation of stalacmites and stalactites that Mother Nature has sculptured. You'll love exploring the Green Grotto Caves!
Finally, we'll start our journey back to the starting point in Falmouth, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 5 hours.
