Kingston Reggae Tour + Bob Marley Museum Visit
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kingston to begin this exciting reggae tour. Our visit will take us to some of the most iconic spots in Jamaica's capital, known as the birthplace of this music genre. Let's go!
Our first stop will be the Bob Marley Museum, located in what was once the home of the legendary singer. Here, we'll learn about the life and legacy of one of the biggest proponents of reggae as we visit the recording studio and other spaces that remain intact even after his death. Did you know that this museum was inaugurated by his wife Rita Marley? You'll be amazed!
We'll also head to the National Heroes Park, a space that pays homage to great Jamaican figures. Strolling through this historical park, we'll stumble across monuments dedicated to leaders and key figures in the island's history.
Hungry? At lunchtime, we'll give you 40 minutes of free time so that you can eat. Having re-energised, we’ll head to one of the liveliest streets in Kingston: Orange Street. Also known as "music street". Here we’ll visit a recording studio and we’ll enter a record shop or two.
We couldn’t end the tour without visiting Trench Town; the birthplace of reggae and where Bob Marley spent a large part of his career. So many international hits and classics were created here!
After discovering more about the reggae culture in Kingston, we’ll end the tour back at your hotel after a total of 6 hours.
