Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park Hiking Tour
Activity Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Levi, we'll begin a 45-minute journey to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Are you ready to explore one of Lapland's most iconic landscapes?
We'll arrive at the start of the trail and gear up for a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) hike. Our route takes us through pine, spruce, and Arctic birch forests, crossing areas of taiga and frozen lakes.
After an initial 1.5-kilometer (0.93-mile) walk, we'll reach a strategic point where we'll light a campfire and prepare a light lunch consisting of sausages and a traditional smoked cheese cake, accompanied by coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, or water.
With full stomachs, we'll continue along the trail, admiring unique plants such as dwarf birch, Lapland willowherb, lingonberry, and bearberry. We'll also make photo stops to capture the beautiful frosty landscapes and shimmering winter light.
Finally, we’ll walk back to the vehicle and begin the return trip to your hotel in Levi, ending our 4-hour and 30-minute tour.
