We'll start our day trip after picking you up at your hotel in Kathmandu. Then, we'll leave the city behind and head south for 40 minutes until we reach the first destination of the day: the Asura Cave. Ready to explore it? Let's go!
After climbing up a long flight of stairs, we'll step into the sacred Asura Cave. Also known as the supreme cave of Yangleshö, this site is an important Buddhist pilgrimage center. It's said that a guru reached full enlightenment at this site. We'll tell you all the history behind it!
Next, we'll continue our trip to visit the Neydo Tashi Monastery, a religious site where the Buddhist monks of this area in Nepal live. Here, you'll soak in the peaceful and serene atmosphere as you admire the surrounding valley.
Along with witnessing the prayers and ceremonies of the monastery, you can even respectfully join in the ritual and talk to the monks. It'll be a rewarding experience!
After 4 hours, we'll say our goodbyes at your hotel in Kathmandu.
