Forest Lagoon Hot Springs Tickets
Activity Details
In the heart of the Vaðlaskógur forest, just a few minutes from the charming town of Akureyri, lies a true paradise for lovers of outdoor activities. This is Forest Lagoon, a thermal baths complex that is ideal for enjoying a moment of relaxation.
Thanks to this ticket, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in its relaxing geothermal waters, rich in minerals from the depths of the Earth.
The large pool is 530 m² (5,704 ft²) and is kept at a temperature of around 37 °C (98.6 °F). The small pool, on the other hand, is 53 m² (570 ft²) and is heated to 40 °C (104 °F). The choice is yours!
Forest Lagoon also has a Finnish dry sauna. Unlike steam rooms, it has a humidity level of around 20% and a temperature of around 80° C (176 °F). Here, in addition to enjoying all the health benefits that this type of sauna offers, you will get unique views of the Eyjafjörður fjord and the lush forest that surrounds it.
What's more, next to the dry sauna, you can complete the experience by taking a dip in the cold water pool. The temperature of the cold water pool is 11 °C (51 °F). We assure you that the combination of both is totally revitalizing. You'll love it!
